Use your Gift!
As we reverence the greatest gift we’ve been given this Christmas and think about the gifts we’ll be giving to our loved ones, I want you to think about your unique gift that you were given to share with the world!
Do you have an idea that’s been on your heart for years that can serve you or your family, or maybe you’re a singer, dancer, writer, speaker or group facilitator who has a powerful talent to share in order to uplift, inspire, or impact?
What’s your gift?
One year, while living in Atlanta, I shared with a woman that I sing, do choreography and act, “But, I don’t sing,” I told her. “That is too much pressure.” She replied in shock, “You’re not using the gift God gave you?”
What I realized in that moment was that we have all been given very unique gifts, and though we might not use those gifts in every season in our lives, we shouldn’t fear using those gifts, especially if it’s for the good of others.
So, I want you to think, this holiday season, “What are your unique gifts, and how can you use those gifts to walk in your purpose or serve those around you?”
Take time this month to envision what it might be like to totally be integrating the gifts you have been given to contribute to your fulfilling your purpose in this world.
Don’t be afraid to use your gifts this month. And, continue to take the action steps that will serve you, your family, and/or the community around you.
As always, please send me a note at firstname.lastname@example.org if this resonated with you, and feel free to share this post with family and friends!
Also, feel free to share with me via email what your unique gift is. I’m excited to hear about it!
